Iran developing indigenous military since Islamic Revolution

Before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran’s military was fully controlled by the United States that needed the country for its own strategic goals in the region, but after the Revolution, the Islamic Republic had to rely on its own capabilities.

Iran is now an independent military might in the West Asia region.
